Synopsis
The match between the Urameshi team and Ichigaki team is totally one-sided -the Ichigaki team are constantly attacking, and the Urameshi team don't know how to fight back. Ichigaki reveals each of his team have blood-controlling nodes on their backs, which put their minds completely under his control. These things can't be removed without killing their hosts, either. M3 then attacks Yusuke, but the masked fighter takes the hit instead. |
She gets back into the ring and kicks down the entire opposing team, but her mask has been torn -revealing a beautiful woman's face underneath it. Just then, Kurama and Hiei arrive in the ring, after throwing M5 into the stadium and riding on Gatasubaru. Kurama reveals they got M5 to tell them everything, including the fact that Ichigaki was the one responsible for making his team's old master ill. |
Ichigaki doesn't care about his team, saying they are just pawns for him to throw away once he's done with them. Kuwabara realizes his dream he had about them was them trying to call out for help, and he tries to get them to open their eyes, as he doesn't want to fight them. However, the Ichigaki team batter him, sending him flying out of the ring. When the masked fighter checks on Kuwabara, she finds that the Ichigaki team deliberately missed Kuwabara's vital spots. |
Having heard and seen enough, Yusuke gets angry and his spirit energy returns, allowing him to see his opponent's attacks. Ichigaki sees this and realizes the chances of his team winning have now been greatly reduced, so he orders his team to kill Yusuke. Yusuke, however, leaps up into the air and prepares to fire his spirit gun... |
-The masked fighter kicks Yusuke out of the way twice in the anime, but only once in the manga. |
