Some time ago, I upload a subbed version of this Street Fighter II anime. This eventually got picked up by Kotaku, who ran a small story about it. This gave the vid a big boost in views, along with a lot of new comments. Most people who've commented on the video were happy to have watched it, some were disappointed at the lack of fights (understandable), but I got a couple of ungrateful people who only commented on the aspect ratio being wrong. This is despite the fact that the DVD I ripped it from was in widescreen, so it was meant to look like that.
So this kicks off with Spindash54 posting this. Feel free to spend the $$$ to "properly preserve" it yourself. Robby thankfully put him in his place, so thanks Rob. At which point "inceptional", or iNCEPTIONALNEWS or iNCEPTIONALSOURCE or whatever he wants to be called steps in with this. Here's the problem: I don't care about the aspect ratio. I never thought about it when I was putting this together and I have no issues at all with what it looks like. And even if I did, I have no way of changing it myself, I don't own any video editing software so I couldn't change it even if I wanted to -which I don't. That's what it looks like on my TV anyway.
The second comment here inceptional was replying to here got deleted, but it makes me laugh that he couldn't watch the video because this was too much for him to deal with:
Yes, you sure do appreciate it... by insulting me repeatedly and putting other awful comments on the vid. This is the closest I got to a deserved apology from this guy, by the way. If anyone deserves a medal it's me, actually. One more good comment from Robby...
And another rude, unappreciative comment from inceptional. |
